Aged for 18 months in French Oak barrels and finished in Chateau d'Yquem wine casks. Delicious and ultra small production. Deleon is using the highest quality ingredients at every step. The anejo continues a string of successful bottlings. Richly textured, the Anejo presents a stunning range of unusual and attractive aromas. Nose: Stone fruit, salt water taffy, pink pepper corn. The palate delivers a soft smooth agave tweaked with the Sauterne barrels depth. Buttercream, bell pepper, and rich sweet agave fruit. Deleon is a leader in quality as well as design and the Anejo is no exception. Packaged in a leather lined box with a distinctive etched glass bottle, Deleon has one of the most impressive presentation in the spirits world. The heavy glass bottle is topped with an ornate gold finished stopper.
~ Bottle
The beautifully crafted bottle is uniquely squared, unusually heavy, and created by one of the finest glassmakers in the world. The family's trademark DL is subtly sandblasted on the front as to not draw attention away from the perfection that rests inside.
~ Rock
The master, used to create the stunningly beautiful metal top, was hand carved from a one pound ball of sterling silver by famed rock and roll jewelry designer Bill Wall and remains the most familiar iconic identifier of the brand. (shown below)
